I want to extend a huge Thank You from the Bottom of my heart to all who participated in this year's 8th Annual Remembrance Run. It was a very successful year again, and it couldn't have happened without the assistance of the Riders not only from Bremerton, but from the Riders at the Bellingham Post 7. A huge thank you also to Julie, the Officers and members of Post 14 in Vancouver. Again this year they went above and beyond in hospitality. Providing a shuttle service for us on Friday night from the hotel to the post. We just can't thank You enough.

Post 76 in Arlington with Betty Ann and all the volunteers out in the hot mid day sun there with sandwiches and drinks was fantastic.
We had live broadcasting along the roadway with KMNT Radio and a huge amount of support and advertising from KISS Radio, I just can't thank all involved enough.
Our chase vehicle with an enclosed trailer was driven by Randy Colson, and He did a fantastic job in this position. This year was again a safe year, with no body going down and no incidents. I thank our lucky stars and credit it to all the rider out there with us.

This year we have generated with everyone's help about $12,000 for a donation for the Legacy Scholarship Fund. As you all know this fund is for the children who have lost a parent on active duty on and since 9/11/01. Lets continue to give these deserving legacy's a chance at the future.
Plans are already in the works for next year's run.

I will never forget that I am an American fighting for freedom, responsible for my action, and dedicated to the principles which made my country free. I will trust in my God and in the United States of America.

Legion Riders' Prayer

Almighty God, We give you thanks, for giving us a land of the free that we can enjoy riding through its beauty of trees, valleys and mountains and rivers. You have blessed us with good health to our bodies, minds and spirits, so that we can appreciate your awesome gifts of owning a bike to ride and friends and comrades that can appreciate the same. Help us to help those in need in their lives, so that they too can prosper in all that they are capable of doing and becoming for the glory of God. We ask for your safety and protection as we travel far and near and to unknown places. Make our lives to be good examples as a Legion Rider who cares about veterans and our troops who are serving, and Lord, be with their families right now. Especially at this time, be with those who are grieving for those who have given the Ultimate Sacrifice for their beloved country. Give each of us the strong sense of your presence and your guidance in all things. In your name we pray. AMEN
